Living and Learning

The goal of this program is to provide adults with monthly skills training in two high-interest life skill areas:cooking and computers. Once per month, this two-hour class is hosted at our Kentucky campus and focuses the first hour on direct computer instruction in a small group setting and the second hour on intermediate cooking skills. Cooking is done on an individual basis so that with supervision, each student can complete every step in the cooking process. There is no cost for this program. For more information, or if you would like to enroll in this program, contact Susan Teaford.

Adult Academic Tutoring

This program serves as a post-high school education program for our adults to both maintain as well as increase academic skills. Targeted skills include reading, writing, spelling, math, counting/managing money, and computer skills. Participants meet with a private tutor once per week as well as complete homework assignments outside of tutoring. Goals are developed based on the participant’s assessment results and progress is continually measured. This program is no cost for members. If you would like more information about this program, or if you would like to enroll, please contact Susan Teaford
