Shutdowns and store closings won’t keep the models participating in the 5th annual Down with Derby fashion show from strutting their stuff. Models with Down syndrome will walk alongside industry professionals on a virtual runway showcasing this season’s Derby looks on March 18, 2021 from 6:30 – 9:00 PM.
The virtual fashion show will showcase styles from several local boutiques, have virtual “door prizes”, a silent auction, and several fun ways for attendees to interact throughout the evening.
“The pandemic has changed so many aspects of life, but one thing it has not changed is our desire to connect with one another, we hope to do that with our community through this fashion show,” said Down Syndrome of Louisville’s Development & Marketing Director, Nicole Volz.
Down with Derby will help raise funds to support the 50+ programs and services offered at the Down Syndrome of Louisville Lifelong Learning Centers, which provide innovative educational, social, and developmental programming to people with Down syndrome in Louisville and Southern Indiana.
