Mark J. Hublar always says he just wants to be like his brothers. He wasn’t allowed into the catholic school system in the 80s and got his diploma at New Albany High School. He liked NAHS but that’s not where his brothers went, and his Catholic Faith is very important to him. Mark was recently not only awarded the Providence High School Community Service Award, he was also given an honorary diploma making another one of his so called “unattainable” dreams come true. We are so proud of you, Mark.
“Because I have Down syndrome I did not get an opportunity to graduate from Providence High School like my brothers. On October 1, 2019 Providence awarded me this year’s Community Service Award. I also received an honorary diploma from Providence. High School. Now I am just like my brothers. This is my loving family with me on a night I will never forget I now have two high school diplomas. One from New Albany High School and one from Providence.” #markhublarspeaks #nolimits #downsyndrome #downsyndromeawarenessmonth
